CHOP’s Daisy Days 31-Day Challenge

Throughout the month of May 2016, the Susan & Jack Holender Children’s Fund supported The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s 60th Anniversary of Daisy Days 31-Day Challenge. Daisy Days began 60 years ago as a month-long, city wide street campaign to support The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia challenged participants to walk, jog, or run for the kids at CHOP. This year the Daisy Days campaign featured beneficiary was The Cancer Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

The Cancer Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is an internationally recognized leader in pediatric cancer treatment and research. The Susan & Jack Holender Children’s Fund designated our grant to go towards the Palliative Care programs at CHOP. Susan and Jack also helped raise awareness on social media about the wonderful work of CHOP and the Daisy Days 31-Day Challenge event.

Susan and Jack are dedicated to helping the sickest of children who face the most difficult diagnoses. They believe every child should have the right to a happy and healthy childhood.

In addition to our involvement in The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Daisy Days, the Susan and Jack Holender Children’s Fund participates in a variety of projects that promote the health and welfare of children. Because we have an all-volunteer staff, every dollar raised goes directly to the medical care, research, and support of children in need. Please donate to the Susan and Jack Holender Children’s Fund so that we may continue supporting important projects like the CHOP’s Daisy Day 31-Day Challenge.
