Clarke's Listening Walk at the ZooOn Sunday, May 20, 2018 Susan and Jack were excited to participate in the third Annual Clarke’s Listening Walk at the Zoo and 5K Run, an event supporting Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech. Clarke’s Listening Walk at the Zoo provides an opportunity for children who are deaf or hard of hearing to use their listening skills to discover unique sounds throughout the zoo.

The Listening Walk was a fun-filled day with Clarke students, families and friends. Participants went on a listening scavenger hunt through the zoo to discover new sounds and learn about the possibilities for children with hearing loss.  It was our pleasure to sponsor Listening Stop #1, Meerkats. This was a wonderful day with more than 1,100 enthusiastic participants!
