National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS)

At the Susan & Jack Holender Children’s Fund, we are committed to supporting children with developmental differences by raising awareness, encouraging inclusion, and helping them reach their full potential.

To that end, we are proud to support the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) — a leading advocacy organization committed to empowering individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

NDSS is committed to providing individuals with Down syndrome, their families, caregivers, and the public with information to support them from birth to the end of life. Their work is making the world a more inclusive and compassionate place.

Raising Awareness for NDSS

In addition to financial contributions, we are also helping to raise awareness about NDSS. On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the Susan & Jack Holender Children’s Fund walked for inclusion at the 2025 NDSS Buddy Walk® in New York City.

Held annually in Central Park, the NYC Buddy Walk® brings together thousands of families, advocates, and supporters for a truly unforgettable day.

The event featured a scenic walk through Central Park, live entertainment & music, family activities, face painting & games, inspiring guest speakers and honorees, and a vibrant community united for a cause.
