Taking Part in Ella’s Retreat Fine Feathered 5K Run On Sunday May 31, 2015, we had the delight of taking part in the Fine Feathered 5K Run, a notable annual fundraising event initiated and coordinated by Ella’s Retreat. Ella’s Retreat is the culmination of co-founders Joe and Audrey Walsh for their seven-year old daughter, Ella. It was also our great pleasure to make a grant from the Susan and Jack Holender Children’s Fund to Ella’s Retreat. Pennsylvania Summer Kickoff On a beautiful Sunday in June 2015 Susan & Jack participated in the Clarke Pennsylvania Summer Kickoff event. This event was a fun filled day with Clarke families & children, swimming, playing games, eating and interacting with wonderful Clarke professionals. Clarke Schools teaches children who are deaf or hard of hearing to listen and talk. Clarke professionals work to ensure that every child has the chance to reach his/her full potential and has a life full of timeless possibilities.
