Throughout the month of May 2016, The Susan & Jack Holender Children’s Fund supported The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s 60th Anniversary of Daisy Days 31-Day Challenge. Daisy Days began 60 years ago as a month-long, city wide street campaign to support The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The hospital challenged participants to walk, jog, or run for the kids at CHOP. This year the Daisy Days campaign featured beneficiary is The Cancer Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The Cancer Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is an internationally recognized leader in pediatric cancer treatment and research. The Susan & Jack Holender Children’s Fund designated grant funds to go towards the Palliative Care programs at CHOP.
Susan and Jack are dedicated to helping the sickest of children who face the most difficult diagnoses. They believe every child should have the right to a happy and healthy childhood.
