JAFCO: Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options
JAFCO’s programs and services provide care, safety, and support to children and their families within the Jewish community and beyond who are impacted by abuse, neglect, trauma, or developmental disabilities…giving every child a place to belong.
JAFCO Children’s Village
Touching the lives of children who have experienced abuse or neglect, the campus provides a home to over 100 children each year in our emergency shelter or group homes. The only center of its kind in the Jewish community in the nation, another 500 children each year find safety in either our foster care, adoption, or family preservation programs.
JAFCO Children’s Ability Center
The JAFCO Children’s Ability Center is committed to serving children from birth to age 22 who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability or delay. Providing family enrichment, resources, and respite to families raising a child with a developmental disability, the center supports the entire family including parents, grandparents and typical siblings.
Eagles’ Haven Wellness Center
Opened in March 2019, the mission of the Eagles’ Haven Wellness Center is to honor the lives of the victims and survivors of the tragic MSD school shooting, to rediscover wellness and to restore hope to the Parkland/Coral Springs community through family strengthening navigation services, wellness experiences, crisis support, and support groups.
JAFCO FamilyMatters
FamilyMatters, a JAFCO Support Network, offers specialized case management and support services to assist families in times of crisis in the Greater Philadelphia area. We serve families who are impacted by abuse, neglect, trauma, or developmental disabilities with a focus on strength and empowerment to overcome these challenges.
Illuminate Event Venue
Our new event center helps change the world with every event by providing employment for young adults with autism and by generating revenue to help support our programs and services. A beautiful venue for your wedding, bar or bat mitzvah, birthday or anniversary celebration, fundraising event, or business conference for up to 300 guests.
In addition to our financial contributions to JAFCO, we will be funding campaigns to increase public awareness of their vital programs and services. By promoting JAFCO on social media, we are committed to ensuring these vulnerable children receive the support they deserve.
