On Sunday May 15, 2016, Susan and Jack Holender had the delight of taking part in the Clarke's Listening Walk at the Zoo presented by Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech. Clarke’s Listening Walk at the Zoo was designed to encourage children who are deaf or hard of hearing to use their listening skills and discover new sounds throughout the zoo. Taking Part in Ella’s Retreat Fine Feathered 5K Run On Sunday May 31, 2015, we had the delight of taking part in the Fine Feathered 5K Run, a notable annual fundraising event initiated and coordinated by Ella’s Retreat. Ella’s Retreat is the culmination of co-founders Joe and Audrey Walsh for their seven-year old daughter, Ella. It was also our great pleasure to make a grant from the Susan and Jack Holender Children’s Fund to Ella’s Retreat.
