Daisy Days at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

Throughout the month of May 2016, The Susan & Jack Holender Children’s Fund supported The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s 60th Anniversary of Daisy Days 31-Day Challenge. Daisy Days began 60 years ago as a month-long, city wide street campaign to support The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The hospital challenged participants to walk, jog, or run for the kids at CHOP. This year the Daisy Days campaign featured beneficiary is The Cancer Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Clarke School Listening Walk at the Philadelphia Zoo 2016

On Sunday May 15, 2016, Susan and Jack Holender had the delight of taking part in the Clarke's Listening Walk at the Zoo presented by Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech. Clarke’s Listening Walk at the Zoo was designed to encourage children who are deaf or hard of hearing to use their listening skills and discover new sounds throughout the zoo.
